FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am most often sending your estimate and appointment details via *****. I will gladly view images of the work site in advance along with further details that explain the scope of work. This allows for a more accurate virtual consultations and estimation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m currently earning my degree in Horticulture from St. Louis Community College–Meramec, where I study plant science, soil health, and landscape design. The program has deepened what I’ve learned in the field, helping me connect the science behind plants to the art of creating balanced outdoor spaces. Outside the classroom, I’ve spent years working in landscape maintenance and lawn care, building the technical experience that brings designs to life. Those seasons of hands-on work taught me the rhythm of real gardens—the timing, precision, and care it takes to keep a space thriving.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My experience comes from years of working directly in lawn care and landscape maintenance hands-on, season after season. Those years taught me the foundations of healthy landscapes: soil structure, pruning, plant health, and how to maintain balance through changing conditions. While my love for gardening started young, it was in the field where I learned what truly sustains a landscape care, attention to detail, and respect for timing. Every property became a classroom, and every season another layer of understanding. That practical background now shapes my approach for Pearl Gardens. Thoughtful design backed by real world maintenance experience, ensuring that what’s planted thrives long after installation.
