Shawn was very prompt at repairing my computer, and the price was very affordable. He was very professional and was willing to come to me if needed. I got my computer back 6 hours after dropping it off with him, and am very satisfied with the repairs he made.

Being a college student with a broken laptop is a tragedy of pandemic proportions. It makes for a harder day, if not in general, than at least in school. Luckily enough for me, upon placing an ad seeking help, I was contacted within a day by Rethink Associates -- specifically one Shawn M. Kirkbide, who immediately offered to set up a meeting so we could diagnose the problem. What warmed my heart the most about this guy wasn't just his constant updates -- we emailed frequently to keep track of bills, schedules, and general brouhaha -- but also the way that he bent over backwards trying to accommodate me and my own hectic schedule. We arranged several meeting times in order to install a new battery for 'my baby,' only to be canceled on my part because of work, family, or other obligations. Apparently not one to be dissuaded, this man never quit, continuing to keep me updated with emails until we finally managed to wrangle together a time. More than that, Shawn actually made the drive up to a meeting place when I explained that I had no car or other mode of transportation. He worked very quickly and efficiently, the entire time explaining to me what he was doing and why so that, in the future, I might be little bit more well-informedabout what was going on with my computer. He was kind enough to double-check everything on the laptop to make sure it would be running smoothly for some time, and gave me a few tips about future maintenance. This was a guy who made me feel like he genuinely cared whether or not my computer was fixed. He went out of his way to find the right battery, guided me through any preparatory steps I could take to be ready for the switch, and was both entertaining and knowledgeable to talk to when the time finally came to meet up and repair my poor machine. I was truly astounded by this service, and suffice to say that if you're reading this, trying to decide whether or not to use this guy, here's my advice: GO FOR IT. You won't regret a thing.

Very friendly service. Quick on the notifying about cost/repairs, continued to update me on the process, and informed me about any delays. Recieved my computer back in less than a week even though the logic board was damaged!

Had wifi issues with my daughters computer and Shawn made it very easy for me to meet up to drop off the computer. Shawn explained a few things he was checking out and got the problem figured out within the first thirty minutes! Shawn provided me with a few options as to repair the problem. His rates are very reasonable and I am pleased to have had him be able to work on my daughters computer. I will most gladly do repeat business with him if I'm having anymore computer problems!!!

We do our best to provide general estimates, but we have to actually put our hands on a computer to provide a clear cut actual estimate. There are so many things that need to be verified by a proper technician before we can give a solid cost for repairs. Which is why general estimates are free.

Several certifications, 25 years of hardware diagnostics, repair and custom system design experience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The jobs I do most frequently are Virus and Spyware removal, data recovery, data transfer, custom system builds, I have also performed thousands of Operating System installs and System refreshes.
