We recently contacted with Vantage Point Exteriors, owned by Matt and Katie Hazen to install Hardie Board fiber cement siding and GAF Camelot 425 lb. roofing on our home. Their bid price was very reasonable and they commenced work almost immediately, as soon as the materials were delivered and weather permitted. Their subcontractors were very good and easy to work with and took time to answer any questions and concerns that came up. The Hardie siding company requires an audit of the installation on every job and we were very pleased that the audit of our job received a grade of 100%. Matt and/or Katie were on the job daily to make sure everything went right and that we were pleased. We have received many compliments on the job they did, and they are presently involved in doing a similar job just across the street and have inquiries from other neighbors. I would certainly use them again for other work.

Vantage Point Exteriors replaced our roof and installed 18 windows, James Hardie cement-board siding, new gutters, and painted—all in about 11 working days. Ours is a 5,000-square-foot home. Before we contracted with Matt and Katie, we watched our neighbor’s work done by Vantage Point Exteriors. Then, we asked what was her experience with Matt and Katie. She enthusiastically praised their work and highly recommended them. We have completey rehabbed five of our homes and this is the best contractor we have ever dealt with. The experience was much better than we anticipated. Numerous neighbors arrived and drove by to give thumbs-ups and comment how neatly the crews were working and how beautiful our home now is. The crews (roofing, siding, windows, gutters, painting) came on time and finished before promised; that is, they “under-promised and over-delivered”. They protected our landscaping and maintained a neat working environment—cleaning up every evening. They roof guys even washed our skylights without charge or complaint—just a smile. The siding crew (headed by Dalton Silva) was not only professional and efficient but one guy sang happy songs—quite entertaining. All the crews were courteous to our neighbors as well. We dreaded this “total home makeover” but Matt and Katie made it a turn-key experience. They truly strive to not only please but impress their customers. They are techno-geeks who run their business quickly and efficiently. They answer phone calls and resolve concerns immediately or within minutes. Matt and Katie made sure we were aware of every aspect of the work as it was happening, both verbally and sending photos electronically. When Matt first quoted the price, it was so affordable we thought he forgot to include cost of the roof! We received the best value for our money, hands-down. CHOOSING THIS COMPANY WILL BE ONE OF YOUR BEST DECISIONS.

I've been working with Matt and Katie for about 3 months Handling their James Hardie Projects, What I like about them is that they treat me as partners not like their worker, we have had great experience with all the homeowners we worked with, another thing I really appreciate is that Matt always have my check at the end of the job that keeps me and my crew happy , as long as Matt has jobs going in Kansas, Me and the crew will be there to get it done.
Vantage Point Exteriors's reply
Dalton is noticeably an integrity driven man being the best at what he does. We have had awesome completed jobs for our homeowners and he follows all the James Hardie installation/audit requirements that they explicitly make sure we follow. I send all our potential homeowners to the jobsite, cause we will only make them as happy as the job these guy's do for them and their home. Dalton is K.C.'s preferred Hardie installer and we now proudly have him install all our jobs. He is the BEST in this town. That's what the James Hardie representative's say, and from what I have seen, is the truth. Our business relationship is critical to our Hardie component of our general contracting company!!!! Have your contractor send you a rider policy for his workmans comp before any of installation team walk on your property, for your protection. When we meet customer's and help them with their current home burden. We take it as an oppurtunity to show through action the kind of people we want our kids to become. They learn from our actions after all, not our promises in what we say.
