We moved into our house in September 2023, and due to a combination of everything associated with setting up a new home, and having a baby, our yard kind of got away from us. We had a bunch of overgrown weeds which needed to be pulled, bushes which needed to be trimmed, a ton of mulch to be put down, etc. We got in touch with Medellin’s Landscaping through Thumbtack. This review is long overdue—mainly because I rarely write reviews—but Medellin’s Landscaping absolutely deserves it. I’ve been working with them for over a year now and have hired them for multiple projects. Most recently, they tackled a massive job: we had them completely tear out our entire front yard—bushes, mulch beds, walkways, grass—everything gone. From there, they installed all new drainage pipes to handle runoff (we live on a hill with lots of retaining walls), laid down new sprinkler lines, installed fresh sod across the whole yard, and created beautiful mulch beds and tree rings. This was a serious transformation. Now, Medellin’s Landscaping may not have big flashy trucks or wraparound logos, but don’t let that fool you. One of the bigger companies quoted me over $13,000 for this work—Medellin’s did it for half the price, and the results speak for themselves. My yard looks amazing. If you’re trying to find a landscaper you can trust—someone who knows what they’re doing, won’t overcharge you, and will actually deliver on their promises—stop looking. Hire Medellin’s Landscaping, let them do what they do best, and you’ll be glad you did. Your yard will thank you.

Rolando and his guys did a great job on our landscaping at what I felt was a fair price. He took down a dead tree (including stump), planted a bunch of bushes and small trees, and did some hardscaping to create a nice area to neatly store our trash, recycling, and yard waste bins
