My daughter and I have been taking piano lessons with Julie for the last three years, and this summer we both added violin too. Julie is excellent at working with both of us where we are. My daughter started at 5 years old, and I started as an adult who took several years of piano lessons as a child. I really enjoy Julie's well rounded approach to the study of music, including technical skills, music theory, and music history, which allows for a richer interpretation of the music and more integrated skill development.Sep 14, 2017
Julie is an amazing, knowledgeable, and talented teacher. She stylizes the lesson plan to fit the individual to give them the best learning experience for them. She has vast experience and teaching skills that make her the most trusted and perfect instructor to learn an instrument!Aug 16, 2017
Julie is a patient and resourceful teacher. Whenever I reached a new challenge in my learning experience which I couldn't seem to overcome, Julie would have a dozen approaches to the problem and she would work to discover just what worked for me so that I could move forward. Many times in the past when I have taken piano lessons and would reach these challenges, I would finally quit lessons out of frustration because I couldn't find a way over the hump. I highly recommend Julie as your piano teacher.Jun 15, 2017
