Piper is such a good girl but she listened to commands “on her terms”. She was getting more aggressive with strangers at the door and I knew that we needed help. It was hard to leave her for three weeks, however Leona is great with communication. I received many texts and videos so I didn’t feel like I was completely without Piper. If I messaged her at night, she always replied. If I wanted a video because I was missing Piper, she would send it to me. Piper just got home this morning but I am already impressed with how she is following commands. I know this is going to be life changing for us and I can’t thank Leona enough. This is truly Leonas passion and if you decide to enroll your dog, it will be worth every dime.

SAVED OUR FAMILY! There are no words to describe how incredible Leona is. She is a god send from heaven. She reached out to me on a Saturday evening and took out so much time with me on the struggles I was having at home. I have a Blue Nosed Pitbull rescued (Bear male, 7) and a Great Dane Pitbull Mix rescued (Simba male, 2). We have been dealing with horrible internal aggression, resource aggression (toys, food, beds) and walks and everything in between. We came to a point were both dogs had to be separated in the house because we didn't know what to do. My anxiety was through the roof. Friends and family around me told me that I had to give up one of the dogs and that it was to late for them. They were not fixable/trainable and I had to make a choice on who I was going to rehome. My heart broke into thousands of pieces. Until I found Leona searching on the web for help, she was an angle. An angle sent from heaven to help dogs and their owners. Not only did Leona prove everyone wrong, she SAVED OUR FAMILY! She took time out of her day, night, weekday, weekend and holidays (Christmas & more) to stay in touch with me and helped me every step of the way. She help me identify what I as an owner have been doing wrong and what the correct way to handle both boys. She help me identify what the dogs have been doing wrong, how to stop the aggressive fights before they even happen and how the dogs need to be behaving. She sent me videos, gave me detailed instructions on how to do each step, helped me build my own internal foundation to concur my anxiety and be the owner my dogs needed. She guided me to the right technics to use and what the right tools for the right job I needed. I cannot express enough how many tears of happiness I have had since the first text message from Leona. She is still working with me today, texting me and guiding me. If you are going through anything with your dogs, go to Leona and do not hesitate for one second. It is never late for your dogs and she will take care of your dogs as if they were her own.

Leona was wonderful with my boy! Not only did she work hard with training him but she also showed him affection, which is important to me. He’s only been home two days but I see a major improvement in his behavior… He listens better, and now I have the tools to work on his problem areas. I highly recommend Canine Boot Camp!

I am so glad that I found Leona. My little dog Daphne was super hyper and just wouldn’t listen. I was to the point of re-homing her when I came across Leona. Her 14 day Boot Camp is a life changer for both me and Daphne. I was amazed with change she had made with Daphne, she is a completely different dog. I couldn’t believe she was the same dog that I left with Leona and I really like the fact that Leona sends lots of videos as your dog progresses. I kept the videos for my reference just in case I forgot something and the cot training has to be one of the best things that Leona taught Daphne. I put her on the cot and no matter what she will not get off it until I tell her to. All in all Leona’s 14 day Canine Boot Camp is the best and very much worth the price. Highly recommend for anyone who is having any type of behavioral issues with their dog.

Leona turned my wild child rescue into a fun loving pet. I had everything from food aggression, walking me instead of the other way around, jumping on people, crate aggression etc. Mille (my part golden, part Shepard rescue) now walks with manors, does not jump on people, no food aggression and no aggression going into the crate. I am forever grateful for her professionalism and knowledge to get Millie and me on the right track. I highly Recommend her for training and daycare. She’s amazing and Millie loves her too

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
21 Day Stay & Train Boot Camp……$1600 Each training program is designed to work on the issues you are having with your pet. This program also includes training equipment used to train you pet, that will go home with the pet. I work with everything from basic obedience to aggression issues.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a phone interview to make sure that I will be able to help you with your situation. I may also ask for videos or to do FaceTime so I can get a better idea of the issues you are having with your pet. We then discuss training options.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an advanced training certificate in behavioral modification, service dog training and scent detection.
