Introduction: I make a connection and care about each and every one of my projects. Sometimes I feel like I'm more excited about the pictures than the client. I work great with clients who are nervous or uncomfortable getting in front of the camera. I put them to ease, give them good direction, and their photos always turn out stunning. Taking pictures...plain and simple. I get into a zone and my wife says she's never seen me do anything I enjoy more than taking pictures.

I hired Andy Stratemann to capture all of the memories for my engagement and wedding... Andy is great to work with. He always kept in touch with me through the whole process. Stratmann Pictures did some AMAZING family photos for us. I hate getting my picture taken, but they made it a smooth and easy experience. The photos look awesome, couldn't be happier. They might be the best pictures ever taken of me, I cant remember the last time I was happy with a photo I was in. I wish we would have found them for our wedding photos, especially since the prices are so reasonable. We'll be back for more photos and we'd recommend them to anyone who needs a photographer.

Andy helped us with engagement pictures, and he did an excellent job. He met us on a chilly Sunday morning, but was enthusiastic and ready to get right into shooting. I had sent him some collages of poses that I liked before the shoot, and he had those on hand to use for suggestions during our session. He was excellent at directing us and helping us feel very comfortable. He also got the pictures back to us very quickly, which was very much appreciated! He was very professional and the pictures were beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I have used Stratmann Pictures many times, and have never been disappointed. Andy is fairly priced, highly skilled, and extremely accommodating. He goes above and beyond to make sure your special moment is remembered with stunning photos. Andy's wife, Keka, is often at the photo shoots, and she has an amazing eye for detail. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to work in film and television and learned a great deal about lighting and photography during that time. My wife encouraged me to start taking photos professionally. When our daughter was born it was just the push I needed to jump in and let her be a full-time mom.
