S & J was a hit! We had a fundraiser at a house and we did karaoke in the living room. Prior to the guests getting into the karaoke, Steve kept the music going to entice some singers to step up to the mic. Then we hit full swing and it was great. We hooked up the system to our large flat screen and faced it toward the "audience" so that all could sing along. We put names in a hat and drew them out so that the shy folks would get up and sing together with other people that are not so shy. We ended up having such a good time that we paid more to extend our DJ time because nobody wanted to stop singing and go home. We are considering making this an annual event with S&J. Steve was friendly, professional and was an expert at his craft. Thanks Steve!

Steve was awesome! He was literally a life saver. When our previous Karaoke guy canceled last minute, Steve was able to provide his services no questions asked. If it wasn't for him our event would have had to be canceled. He also was super engaged with the audience. There was a wide variety of music in every genre you could think of. Everybody had such a great time. I would for sure use him again if we had another karaoke Night.

The entire experience was fantastic. Once we booked the date with him, he messaged me to confirm immediately and then again the week of our grad party. He was early to arrive at our venue. He was very professional and set up quickly. Once the party started, he was 100% engaged in the process. Our venue had a bit of an echo, so he made changes to eliminate any sound problems before the party started. The sound was great. He had an extensive list of songs and the kids had an amazing time. I would hire him again in a minute and hope I have a reason to soon! Thanks Steve!

I hosted a fraturnity formal with around 120 people and I hired Mr. Cox to dj the event. Everything went perfectly and he was able to keep a whole bunch of young adults dancing and happy. All in all a wonderful DJ. Would definitely recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Here are base prices for our different services:
Karaoke - $350
Photobooth - $500
These are the base prices, although I do have add-ons that can cause the price to go up. Also, very short notice events or events that require some extra travel will increase prices slightly.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we need to agree on certain details (like date/time, location, duration, etc.).
Once we have agreed to those terms, I will ask for a 50% deposit to lock you into my calendar.
After that, let's schedule a trip to your venue to make sure the details are right and everyone is on the same page.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My best friend and I bought some used audio gear just to play at parties for friends and family. It didn't take long to catch the bug. The feedback we received was always really positive, and we LOVED entertaining the crowds. Since then, we've built around that passion. We've come so far since then, we've been through a lot of changes, and learned so much.
