He was very communicative and quick to respond with awesome customer service when he was initially bidding for the job. Once we signed the contract, things changed. He would promise to call one day and then we didn’t hear til the next day. He said he’d start the work Thursday, but a doctor appointment came up so we agreed to Friday. No big deal.
He arrived Friday and then told us he was done. We paid him and noticed he had not caulked the shower arm and the faucet. We text him and he told us he’d come back Saturday to do it.
He didn’t come back Saturday, Sunday, Monday. He always promised the next day and then the next, and now he has stopped returning our calls and texts altogether.
I looked at my shower today to see if I can finish the job myself….. and I’m pretty sure now I see why he didn’t come back. There is a HUGE gap between the faucet and the wall. It seems that the remodeling plate is overlapping with the faucet so that it will not sit flesh with the wall. He at no point mentioned this or owned up to it.
So he may be great for building bookshelves but do not trust this man to do any significant work for you. We are now out of our money we paid him to mess up our plumbing/wall on top of now having to remodel our shower.
