- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my training and learned my love for events while working part-time in school as an event server. I graduated from the University of Iowa and after was lucky enough to manage and oversee events for a large venue that could hold up to 600 people. Since then I have constantly taken classes and training within the industry and have worked in all types of rolls to better understand what every event needs!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I realized that I loved being able to help clients see an event from start to finish and that the details that can be tedious I enjoyed the most! After 5+ years of experience and thousands of events I still enjoy everything about the process and the best reward is knowing they loved the food and had a wonderful time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings, Private Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, Corporate Events, Brunch, We have worked jobs ranging from 250-10 guests.
