About
I have been building and repairing computers for over 20 years. My focus is Virus/Malware Removal on windows desktop and laptop computers. I build desktop computers, done from the ground up the way you would like, if desired. I believe that it is better to have a computer built than to buy one by a specific brand. Lastly, I give advise on keeping my customer's computer(s) safe.
I enjoy helping people, period! So, that is first! I enjoy teaching the ends and outs about computers. Outside of that, I enjoy repairing or upgrading computers.

Computer Ken's reply
Thank you, Troy! It was my pleasure to be of assistance to you! It feels good to help someone who was told by another repair facility to just buy another laptop. Your computer may not be up to today's rightnow standards; but, it's not archaic. It had a very slow startup. But, seemed to always be quick. Now it starts up quickly, plus zips along. And it was designed for multitasking when you bought it and should be better at it now. Your laptop should be good for years! Enjoy!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be as fair; as possible to the customer, regarding my pricing. If I do a diagnostic on a computer and determine that I need to do work on the computer that costs more than the diagnostic, for example, then I will subtract the diagnostic price from the total unless the diagnostic was extensive as far as time consuming. But, I will have to consider mileage if I travel to the customer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To ask plenty of questions of the customer to determine what lead to the computer issue, so there are no surprises before I begin to work on the computer. After repairing the computer I want to give as much advise as I can to the customer to help them avoid future issues, if possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Computer Programming Degree where the teacher introduced us to computer repair. I have been building and repairing computers ever since.
