About Evan Graham LLC

I am a retriever specialist, and do not train non-retriever breeds. I train trainers. I do not train client's dogs.

We offer retriever training information, books, videos and seminars as well as personal consultations. There are three books and 15 DVDs in the Smartwork system.

We travel across the entire North American continent for our seminars. 6 out of the 27 dogs qualified for the 2011 Canadian Master National were from my Vancouver, BC group. Two of them finished!

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Personal coaching in training and handling retrievers for all levels of fieldwork, up to and including the very highest levels.

Seminars tailored to the host's desires.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. 5-day seminar in Victoria, BC Canada. 2 participants ran a field trial the following weekend; One 1st in Qualifying, another CM in Qualifying.

Our newest DVD: "In the Field" detailing all the ways to adapt standard field skills to compete successfully in Hunt Tests in all major venues.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you desire to provide a seminar for retriever trainers that will make a real difference, and inspire fairer and more effective training, we are who you want! Any level, and for any venue; hunting, hunt tests, field trials - as lont as it's fieldwork, our seminars are highly effective and always fun!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. When people use your books and/or videos to learn how to train, and/or if they attend your seminars, do they consistently experience success for themselves, or are they only trusting what the trainer has been able to do for him or her self? If the clients have learned enough to succeed with their dogs, you have found the right source!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Be willing to learn new information about dogs and about training.

Be willing to think outside conventional thinking to accomplish your goals.

Be willing to do your homework!
