I had a really good experience with this company. They responded to my Thumbtack request quickly and were able to get me scheduled right away, which made the whole process easy and stress-free.
They fixed my front door and did solid work—I’m happy with how it turned out. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that some existing materials were reused, and the final cost was a bit higher than I expected.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard service minimum is $189, which includes the first hour of professional service. It is not a flat-price promise that every job will be completed in one hour. Additional labor is $95 per hour. We do not mark up materials, but time spent obtaining required materials is billed at our regular labor rate. When possible, we provide a free estimate from clear photos and project details. If an in-person estimate is necessary, the fee is $65 and is credited to the final bill when you hire us. Larger or complex projects are priced only after we review the actual scope, access, materials, and crew requirements.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by gathering your contact information, property address, project description, and clear photos. If the information is sufficient, we are happy to provide a free estimate remotely. If an in-person estimate is necessary, it is $65 and that amount is credited to the final bill when you hire us. Once the scope is approved, we schedule a 9–11, 11–1, or 1–3 arrival window—not an exact appointment time. Before work begins, we confirm the plan and communicate any material change. We do not guess job duration, crew size, or total labor cost from incomplete information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings years of hands-on experience with residential repairs, rental turnovers, property maintenance, installations, and punch-list work. We use the proper tools, follow manufacturer instructions and accepted safety practices, and maintain insurance for the work we perform. If a project requires a specialty trade or falls outside our scope, we explain that honestly instead of pretending otherwise.
