We had a very chilly upstairs bedroom. Steve developed a cost-effective plan to insulate three areas around the room.
You could tell a difference as soon as he was complete. There was no more draftiness.
His communication during the process was great, allowing me to see the work first-hand and through pictures he shared with me.

I had 3 companies come out and give me a bid. Uhl was right in line with the others. I chose them because Steve was very thorough and not pushy about upgrades. He explained why his suggestions were needed and let me get back to him on my decision. He went above and beyond and showed me pictures of before and after so I didn’t need to crawl up into the attic. He cleaned everything up after he was done. I will definitely refer him and use his services again if needed.
I contacted Steve for a quote to add insulation in my attic, given I was having a lot of issues with excessive heat on the 2nd floor of our house. His pricing was fair and he did a great job of air sealing, installing foam board, and blowing in fiberglass (among other items). I was very pleased with the quality of the work but unfortunately it did not have the desired effect and our upstairs is still rather warm in areas. To his credit Steve did his best to address it, coming back and adding more insulation at no expense. It would seem my house has some issues that simply make it very difficult to cool certain areas, but that is no knock on Steve or his work which looked to me to be top quality.
