FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our jobs generally center on providing general support for desktop computers, servers, or networks. Our help desk receives numerous calls each day regarding questions about commonly used software such as Microsoft Office, issues with printers, and more.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The biggest piece of advice would be to check people's references. There are a lot of firms in our space that claim to know what they are doing, whether or not that is the truth. Asking for and following up with references is one way to ascertain that an IT firm performs good work in practice. Additionally, it would be good to check with several firms to ensure that the pricing you are receiving is competitive for your market. Finally, it is imperative that you insist that any new accounts that are setup (e.g. for a new domain name for instance) be setup under your company's name. You never want to be completely dependent on an outsourced contractor for anything that is crucial to your business. You need to maintain your ability to choose your provider at any time.
