- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, when working with a new client we get together for an initial consultation. We speak in regard to fitness goals, Why the sudden need for change, and whether or not there are any physical restrictions that would limit training in any way. Once training begins we start with circuit training for the first few weeks (4-6 wks). This will prepare the body for more body part specific workouts that will follow.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved in sports for many years (football, basketball, track & field, boxing, & martial arts). I have always been involved in weight training for the sports I played and in 2007 I began my education with PCI (Pinnacle Career Institute) enrolling in their personal training program. Upon graduating from PCI I went to work for 24 hr fitness until I struck out on my own in late 2008.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been an athlete, and after seeing the ads and commercials for the personal training program at PCI I decided that this would be the perfect way for me to be able to help others while doing something that I have a true passion for. I LOVE what I do.
