- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can customize packages based on what you need. Let me know what you need and we will see if I can help! Pet sitting check in visits start at $27 (varies on location, season and animals), Dog training packages available with sessions as low as $100 per session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know what my customers are looking for and if I'm able to provide them that and maybe even more. If I can, we schedule a meet and greet and go over what the expectations are for the care of the pets. I can meet the pets and they can meet me so the first time we're meeting isn't when their humans aren't home. If it's a good fit for all, we can book the services. For training a phone consultation can provide what needs to be worked on and I can customize a training plan for the specific dog and family. Positive training and teaching dogs to understand what's being asked of them and humans how to understand their dog is key.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 25 years in animal rescue, including volunteering in shelters has been tremendous in training me for a variety of animals and situations. Not having an owner to tell you their likes/dislikes and needs means you have to figure it out on your own and rather quickly. Their safety and yours depends on it! Working with dogs to get them adoptable when they've been abused or neglected is the most rewarding job.
