I own numerous single family residences plus duplexes and fourplexes in KC. I have gone through several property managers and it has been an expensive and frustrating saga. One of the biggest challenges I face is that I live in California and I can't be popping over to check on what's going on regularly. What I learned is that most property managers are very skilled at exploiting my blind spots for their profit. I found TREH KC over 2 years ago. I flipped my fourplex to them as a trial - it was unoccupied and just coming through a difficult rehab. It went so well that within 6 weeks I flipped all my properties. With two years experience, here is what I have found about TREH: - They have my interests in mind and take the financial performance of my portfolio seriously - They are responsive. Maybe once it took over over 24 hours to respond; usually it's 2 - Everytime I speak with them they know what is going on with every property and they have a proactive plan for any issues - They fill vacancies quickly with qualified candidates and when there is a problem, they rectify it -I meticulously track every expense and revenue item on every property in Quickbooks. The few times I have found a discrepancy I talked it through with them and every single time, they were correct - Interactions are professional and they are a joy to deal with. In the end, what it all boils down to is that they have earned my TRUST. I can actually relax, for the first time since I've owned rentals, and be confident that my business is being run competently by someone who cares and, most importantly, I can depend on.

Cold blooded. I waited on a property to pass inspection for section 8. It failed twice which made me require new paperwork for a different property. Considering the fact that it was THEIR fault I needed new paperwork, I THOUGHT, they would wait until I was able to get the new paperwork for the new property ( you can't just go pick it up, section 8 has to tell you when you can come get it). They were like to heck with the fact that it's OUR fault she needs new paperwork, we're going to show the property to other people. I had to take a deposit in to them in order to get them to reserve the property for me. Smh. That was so wrong. AND NOW, JUST AS I EXPECTED, I JUST RECEIVED A CALL TO COME PICK UP MY DEPOSIT BECAUSE OF MY POST. IF YOU'RE SMART, YOU WILL BYPASS THIS COMPANY AS YOUR REALTOR.. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL & UNETHICAL. SMH

Yes in admitting the error of our ways we quickly helped you find another unit that would accept your 1 bed section 8 voucher. The newe unit included a washer and dryer and only required one utility for you to pay. Unfortunately per our policy in order to hold a unit off the market anticipating a move in date we either need a deposit or your section 8 paperwork for those part of the program. You were told repeatedly to go to the Sec 8 office to get a new voucher to help speed up the process as you are on a deadline. You didn't, you then only called and was told Section 8 didn't do their part to help you get new voucher paperwork. Again you were told to go to the Sec 8 office to get a new voucher to speed up the process and you didn't. It is now over a week and you still do not have a new voucher to submit for the new home. If you are unhappy with our services we are more than ok to refund your deposit back to the agency that provided on your behalf so you can move on to find another property to move into.

This company buys properties and raises rent without adding any value to the property. They refuse to fix issues with their properties and are overall terrible landlords.

I'm sorry you feel that way and may have been misinformed as we have not bought any properties. Lastly after searching our database we currently and previously never had you as a tenant. We make every effort to accommodate tenants and make repairs as reasonably requested. However if have an issue or speaking on behalf of someone else we encourage you to contact our office during regular business hours and we would be happy to help.

I've been using TREH KC Property Management Group for almost a year and have been very satisfied with their customer service. They are always prompt to respond to my questions about maintenance. Myeisha and her team make sure the vendors and contractors get the job done and with little hassle. I will continue to use TREH KC and trust them to provide affordable and excellent work.
