Without Amy and her team, my teen daughter would have continued suffering, leaving her feeling hopeless, helpless, lost and confused. After nine months of receiving therapy at Lilac, my daughter now sees a light at the end of the tunnel and, most importantly, hope that life gets better. Amy also has taught me and my husband how best to communicate with and parent our daughter. She showed us that we are not alone and that we can be and are an integral part in our daughter's recovery. Amy gives us reassurance that we, as parents, are not failures -- and for that, we immensely thank her. We continue on our journey of health and healing, and with Amy's help and from all of the staff at Lilac, we now see sunlight when there once only was darkness. We can't thank Lilac enough.

Worst therapy experience our family have ever experienced. Almost killed our daughter. First when our daughter was in the depth of depression, her therapist Heather Robinson and Amy Munce wanted to do some type of regression therapy to see if our daughter had experienced any trauma, on a whim, when my husband and I weren't there to agree to this or at bare minimum drive her home!! Thank god our daughter had enough wits not to agree to this. The depression got worse, the therapist wouldn't inform us when our daughter was in crisis, instead they would "coach" her over the phone and we had no idea. After leaving Lilac we found out she had tried to commit suicide twice after talking to therapist on a "coaching call" thank god it didn't work. The medical director, Dr Chris Ttublood, was making appointments with our daughter (a minor) and not informing us, weekly appointments after we were at 100% of our deductible. She had our daughter on DOZENS, yes dozens of meds. So many that the pharmacist refused to fill them, that's when we found out this information. I daughter was 16, was driving herself to these apts while my husband and I where working and filling the scripts with her own money.. We then find out Dr Trueblood had her license revoked for 5 years (I believe, or somewhere in that ballpark) for opiat dependency, SHE HAD ONLY HAD HER LICENSE BACK FOR TWO YEARS!!!!! We had no idea!! And this is their medical director?? This place is a nut house, and don't even get me started on their billing... It's such a mess there are no words, it's borderline insurance fraud. All I can say is run the other way!!! Our daughter regressed the entire time she was there, never progressed under their treatment. Horrible horrible place..

The Lilac Center has helped change so many lives and brought hope to so many lives I had spent 15 years in suffering and anguish with little to no relief. After meeting Amy Tibbitts and the Lilac Center my life began to change. I learned skills to help me move forward and was offered support in a way I had never experienced before. The Lilac Center cares so much about people and has the expertise and professionalism to guide you to a better way of living. Love Love Love this place.
