Usually I do my own taxes but this year was more complicated since we sold our house in Lenexa and moved to new home in Missouri. I was very pleasantly surprised at the low price and excellent service. Zeffrey did everything on the spot. We spend about an hour going over all my documents and then he said he would have our return completed in about another hour. Rather than driving home and then back, we opted to shop at Costco, which is very close to his office. When we returned, true to his word, he had completed our returns and all we had to do was to sign them. Our taxes have never before been this easy. I highly recommend Zeffrey for fast, friendly and inexpensive taxpreparation.

This was the first time I met with someone to go over my taxes. I was nervous and had a lot of questions. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a simple flat rate pricing system. One rate depending on filing status. Additional fees apply as the return gets complicated (i.e. Schedule C, Rental Property or a farm)
My fee includes Federal and 2 State filings as well as any local filings. It also includes Audit Protection coverage in addition to your 365 24/7 online access to your documentation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I walk through my checklist and determine their needs, while discussing any questions the customer may have. This process I have, is designed to build rapport. With a tax professional and customer, the trust factor has to be instant because the customer is trusting the tax preparer with so much of their personal story in addition to their personal information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always! I have several certifications and licenses that require continuing education. Besides the requirements, it is always best to be knowledgeable on a subject so when your client comes to with questions and you have answers vs. I'll get back to you.
