Chris Cardwell has been WONDERFUL and we would highly recommend him! He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, punctual and a great teacher. We have an area of our yard we have dedicated to native grasses. We have struggled with them for about 5 years now and were thrilled to be referred to Green Hand Landscape Solutions (Chris) for advice and support. We liked him and his "quality work" so much we turned the project over to him. He is creating a beautiful area for us to enjoy along with the monarchs as we are hoping to designate this area as a monarch way station ( Chris idea! :) ).Apr 28, 2015

Chris has worked with me for three seasons. Chris has planted, transplanted, redesigned and maintained. He has wonderful ideas, and is a fast, careful and artful worker. I'm always delighted to call him and with his results.Apr 15, 2015
It did not really work out. Stated that he would do work on particular dates but never showed up. Highly unorganized and pretentious. Work never started as he had excuse after excuse. I do not see any "recent" reviews or recent work - that may be why.Jul 7, 2014Green Hand Landscape Solutions's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?General maintenance and installation is billed at $45 per hour. Costs for disposal, chemical supplies and fertilizers, permitting, and other charges are additional. Specialized projects range from the types of materials and equipment charges for tools and machinery, higher rates for more specialized labor, up to $75 per hour or more depending on the nature of the task.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?On-site consultation is the first step, or sending photos of the site. Design and procurement of plant materials then follows, installation or maintenance can then take place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have horticulture training from Johnson County Community College, and am a certified TreeKeeper with the Heartland Tree Alliance, an arm of Bridging the Gap, an environmental non-profit here in Kansas City.
