In 2000 my first college professor said I should be a writer. A writer? Me!? That didn’t sound like the practical path I had planned out for myself. Now here I am, a business graduate with 8 years of writing under my belt. I’ve written lengthy educational articles to direct mail appeals to social campaigns - and all for different clients with a variety of voices. I am detail-oriented and an excellent proofreader. I care about doing my jobs in a timely manner and uphold excellent communication practices with my clients. Plus, I have the patience of a saint and can handle the revision process. I had Lizzie edit two legal letters. These letters were fact based and extremely detailed. Initially I asked Lizzie to edit a short letter. She did such an amazing job that my Lawyer actually thought I had another lawyer draft them. If I could give 10 stars I would. Whenever I have a writing need I will ask Lizzie first. She is Amazing.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor’s degree and have been writing for 8 years now in different capacities. I also attend continued education conferences covering email, direct mail, SEO, and social media communication strategies.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a professional it started in the nonprofit sector as an event manager. I wrote sponsorship packets and cover letters from event chairs so I became accustomed to ghost writing from the beginning.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I interviewed a veteran who was close to taking his life when he received a grant. Now my article touched other veterans with mental health issues by not only being published online but also turned into a video. The process ended up having many components so I have five hours invested.
