Tara was awesome! I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect and it felt a bit “extra” to pay for interior design help when on a budget. However, it was worth every penny (and was more affordable than I would have expected). Tara wasted no time and had amazing ideas for my spaces, addressing my questions and incorporating my ideas for my house. I am sure it made up for the cost of the service just because I now have a clearer vision of what to purchase for my spaces. She also gave me places to look for resale furniture. I initially approached Tara for assistance in choosing paint colors for my new home, with the intention of repainting the entire interior, including ceilings, walls, trim, and cabinets. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our initial consultation will be a 2 hour minimum meeting for $300. Further time will be billed at $150 per hour. Pricing for further services varies.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a 2 hour $300 consultation to meet you in your space and learn what your needs are. We will discuss many design solutions and sources in that 2 hours. If you need further design work like floor plans, layouts, or a 3-D model we will make a plan for our next steps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a CIDA accredited degree in Interior Design, and will be completing my NCIDQ certification in 2023. I have had many years of hands on experience renovating homes and consulting home owners in making the right decisions for their homes.
