I absolutely love what I do. More than anything I think my photos stand out from the rest because of my passion and approach to photography. It is my goal to capture memories and tell a story. I love getting to know the people I photograph... and I just have fun taking pictures. The more fun people have while taking pictures, the better the pictures turn out.
The people!! Photographing people is seriously the best job ever!! Capturing the love between a soon to be husband and wife. Running around chasing a toddler to capture those chubby cheeks and that sweet smile!! Making a senior girl truly feel beautiful in her senior pictures. Pictures are so much fun!!

We hired Justin to do our engagement photos, wedding photos, and our reception photos. The engagement photos we took down at Loose Park. He met us down there and we took pictures all over the park. He was very good at setting up different photos and he great ideas for pictures. He was fun to work with and the pictures turned out awesome. On our weeding day, he showed up early with an extra photographer and took pictures before, during, and after the ceremony. The church had tricky lighting and the pictured turned out great. He met us at the reception and he took pictures all night till we left at 11:30pm. He captured many great moments and we were very impressed. We will use him for any and all future photography sessions. He is awesome and affordable. -Tim & Cari. :-)

Mikki was a wonderful photographer to work with for our engagement pictures! She made us feel comfortable and suggested poses that really captured our relationship and was open to any ideas we had. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an engagement photographer!

Mikki was absolutely wonderful to work with for our engagement photos. She knows what she's doing and knew how to pose people who had no idea how to pose for photos. Super laid back, made us feel comfortable and really made sure we got what we wanted. She was also very resonably priced and takes high quality pictures. We can't wait to use her for our wedding next year.

I'm so grateful I found Mikki Copeland Photography! I found Mikki Copeland Photography after using a different photographer for engagement photos and being completely mortified of how they turned out. Mikki and Justin Copeland took engagement photos I was so proud of! Sorry I wasted my time and money on anyone else. After seeing how awesome the engagement photos are, I can't wait to have them capture our wedding day this fall!
