Hello, my name is Don and I have been in the Glass business for over 15 yrs. and specialise in custom glass/mirror install, Doors and hardware, window repair/replacement, glass shower enclosures, and commercial aluminum doors, storefronts, and curtain walls. I also have experience with wiring automatic doors and most any electrical maintenance including plugs and fixtures. I have worked on many large buildings around the KC metro area and I am currently employed with a commercial glazing company but just looking to make some extra cash on the side. We had a wonderful experience with Don at Horizon Glass and the installation of our frameless glass shower door. He was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and reasonably priced. Don has spent many years in construction and it shows. He went above and beyond from the start with picking our door up, provided a quality install and finished the job with a spotless clean up at the end. Thank you for making this a great experience! Would hire Don again in a heartbeat!!

Don did a really nice job. We had a sliding glass door and bathroom window installed. He came back with in a couple days when there was an additional issue with the seal that was unexpected. He stayed until almost 10pm to complete the job. He even touched up the paint on the outside of our home. All around nice guy and quality work. It felt like he cared about doing a good job for a reasonable price. Any other window or door work we will be calling him for sure!

Don was absolutely awesome! He replaced or repaired all the windows in the house, using namebrand windows and allowing for future movement of the old stately house so the glass doesn’t crack in the future. He save the sashes that we’re still good for us, for use in the future. Also, for the price quotes which we got for doing five or six windows, we got the whole house done. Totally professional, easy to work with, great workmanship, got it done sooner that others would…and just an absolute pleasure.
We will certainly be using them again in the future, hopefully soon, on another house.

The good: Don went out of his way to work with my budget, and was able to get started quickly. He is very friendly and easy to talk with. He even made a trip out of town to pick up a uniquely sized window for me, so I wouldn't have to wait.
The not so good: I felt the job was not complete. After windows were installed, I was told that it would be my responsibility to trim out the windows. I thought that at least covering the gaps that had expanding foam would be included for all windows. He did put up the existing trim on 2 windows and completely caulk them, but I was left to install trim on 6 others. I would suggest in the future that he clarifies trimwork is not included.

I am a nationwide Certified commercial Glazier through the ABC with Osha 30hr , CPR First Aid and AED certified, powder actuated tool certified, fork lift, boom and Arial lift certified, Rigging and hoisting certified. I have the ability to service , install or replace any of your Glass/mirror or Door needs.
