First the guy that came to my house was professional and did the job he was hired to do. That’s why I gave 3 stars. I was advised of the $89 fee but asked if it applied to the total fee and that question was ignored because I would have cancelled. Be upfront with people, that should be in your description. All the other plumbing contractors applied the fee to your total. No way my bill should have been $188. We are living in times that we have to be aware of every penny we spend, therefore I can’t afford to use your services again if needed.

Cleanliness. I had rust and metal powder in my shower on my walls and sink, some of which won’t come out. I have to clean my hallway runner and front door had rusty hand prints all over it.

The plumber did good work, was professional and friendly, and same-day service was appreciated. My concern is with how the pricing was handled. I already had the exact replacement disposal and only needed a standard swap. Before agreeing to the $89 service fee, I specifically asked for a realistic total or range because I did not want to pay for a visit only to be quoted several hundred dollars. I was told it would not be. Once the plumber arrived, I was quoted $415 total for a job that took about 35 minutes. When I asked for the hourly breakdown, I was told there wasn’t one and that it was simply a flat fee. If this was always a fixed-price service, that should have been disclosed up front. Good work, but the quote process felt incredibly misleading.
