Keyrenter St. Charles Property Management is a local property management company, servicing St. Charles County and West St. Louis County. Most of our clients are first time landlords, or own a small portfolio of properties, and this is what we have designed our services around.
We are a very hands-on property management company, and we have developed tried and true methods of reducing the typical risks of owning rental property (bad tenants, high vacancy, negligence of property, etc), all the while increasing our landlords' cash flow and saving them money.
Because of our confidence in our services and methods, we have several guarantees included in all of our property management agreements.
Our Leasing Guarantee: If we can't secure a tenant in 30 days or less, we'll waive your first month's management fee!
Our Tenant Guarantee: If a tenant breaks their lease in the first 12 months, we'll find a new tenant at no cost to you.
Our Maintenance Guarantee: If our vendors complete maintenance in your property, it will be completed right the first time or it will be fixed at NO additional cost to you.
Our Service Guarantee: We believe our great service and communication should keep clients doing business with us, not a lengthly and complicated contract. If you ever stop seeing the value in our services, you can provide a 30 day notice with no termination fees, hassles, or headaches!

Danielle helped us manage 2 properties in the past 5 years as well as selling the properties. She is a great communicator when issues with the properties or tenants come up. On the ball when the leases were coming up for renewal. Full of resources if any repairs were needed. She is very knowledgeable in both the management & sales aspects of the business. We would definitely use her again if we had anymore properties in MO.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is transparent, and we are not out to nickel and dime our clients. Our leasing and property management fees are listed on our website, and clearly outlined in our management agreement. If you are only searching for the lowest price company, then we won't be the best fit for you - you can always find someone cheaper than the last.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to schedule a quick phone call, so that we can briefly tell you about our services, answer any initial questions you have, and determine if we think we'll be a good fit. From there, we'll schedule a meeting at your property (if you're still living locally), and get into more details on our services, provide a rent value to you, and discuss our next steps. After that we will sign the property management agreement and get started!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our owner and broker, Danielle Ohlms, began her real estate career in 2005, and started in property management four years later. Like many of those in the industry, her property management career began mostly by accident. It quickly became apparent that with her passion for helping others and strong level of customer service, property management was something that Danielle thrived in.
Her passion for property management and helping others build wealth led Danielle to opening Keyrenter St. Charles Property Management. Danielle brings a fresh approach to the St. Louis area property management market, and thrives on helping her clients save money and earn more on their investments.
