Dick was proactive in checking on picture-taking locations that were acceptable in the church per the clergy, politely extricated the couple for a few family photos by the alter, and took plenty of pictures of the event. We are still waiting to see those pictures, and look forward to selecting a few as keepsakes.

(Wish 4.5 stars was an option, because aside from the small stumbles during our first & last phone calls everything else was pretty great.) Style in Light was the second photographer I spoke with during my search. I called during my work day (8am-4:30pm) to follow up on our TT messages with a voice conversation and when they answered I thought I had woken them. The conversation was more direct and dry (business oriented instead of frilly feeling oriented) compared to bubbly and excited sounding like the previous photographer. The almost emotional-less tone coupled with questions being asked had already been answered during our message exchanges/the original TT request submission, caused concern as if I were some weird business after thought. But overall the conversation was quite thorough. There was also a misunderstanding in how TT priced the original quote, but they were kind enough to honor TT's quote price. My Fiancé and I reviewed their portfolio and preferred Style in Light's photography technique and image touchup skills over the other 2 we ended up considering. Requested & reviewed their contract and received a comprehensive list of wedding photo types to select to decide/discuss wedding day schedule as well as all the pre/post-wedding photos that would partially determine the schedule too. All the following phone conversations went well and were pleasant. Contract signed and deposit paid, I was thrilled to have secured my wedding photographer. Then the Covid pandemic shutdowns came and by end of April /early May we were forcing us to postpone our wedding from June 2020 to Oct 2020. When I reached about to reschedule, I was told maybe and we'd talk later about. During our follow up call I was informed they weren't available that day but there was also concern/lack of understanding about some feedback received and that maybe we weren't a good working fit. I understood the date availability but was confused about the feedback portion, but accepted they're cancellation of our contract. They fully and immediately refunded our deposit and sent a good list of other wedding photographers they could confidently and comfortably provide as professional recommendations for us to contact. Eventually I printed and added their recommendations to my wedding book to do list, but was disappointed to not work with Style in Light Photography. Don't know if my review will be helpful to anyone, but a mostly extroverted person with introverted tendencies you now know my limited experience and my personality type for personal perspective reference.
