FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base fee will include 1 Dj, travel, lighting, sound, visuals, and smoke machine effects. If an event does not require all the above, or if you need more than the base time of 4 hrs; and or, you need additional DJ's ... together, we will see what can be worked out for you. For any details contact me and in subject state "DJ for Hire", and I will gladly, and promptly get in touch.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would arrange a sit down, video call or phone call (depending on distance), and go over what kind of of event they are wanting to create. Music, age range, special requests, and things one would like done or promoted during this time. We would discuss the amount of people attending, where and when the event would be held, and what accommodations would be needed for event set-up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a DJ under some of the top DJ's in the club industry since late 1990 learning many techniques ranging from music selection, crowd reading, technical aspects to sound and visual arts; and then later, working on production. I have worked in some of the biggest nightclubs and have had picked up experience as a resident dj on several radio stations as well. I currently DJ on a radio station called Housefreqs Radio out of London and can be listened to live via Tunein radio Sunday nights at 5pm Eastern US time or 22:00-23:00 UK time.
