After 25 years as a Top Competitive Ballroom & Latin Dancer Teacher. I found my calling. Helping people by training their dogs!
If a Dog's Mindset is right they are Positive by nature and want to please their owners. If yours needs help I am here for you. If yours has lost its way I will get them back on track.
Where I differ from other trainers is in my ability to communicate with owner's and their dogs to ensure the owner gets exactly what they need from their dogs. Most dog trainers are great at training dogs but not so great when training people. If your dog only performs for the trainer your money was not well spent!
I am different from them.
In 2000 I was ranked Top Dance Teacher in the USA for The Dancer's Cup Circuit. In 2009 I was ranked 2nd place. I have spent 25 years teaching the most difficult movements & patterns to my many students & dance partners around the world.
I teach humans and dogs to partner each other just like a dance. I train you both.
I do private lessons, video lessons, phone consultations and board and trains.
No matter how we choose to train your dogs. I will make sure you have the knowledge & skills to keep your dog improving even when I am not there!

Josef taught me so much in a short amount of time (1.5 hours)! Within seconds he had my dog's undivided attention and training began promptly. He explained everything thoroughly, then allowed time after each concept for me to ask questions. I believe with just one session, I learned enough to drastically change our lives! Although it will take time and training of my own, I am confident in everything he taught us. He is honest and respectful while not wasting any time! Highly recommend.

Wow both Hattie ( Our dog) sure learn a lot in an hour session! Josef was very knowledgeable in what he was saying and doing & I will just have to practice as to what he showed us to do !

Josef came to my home to help me with some minor issues I was experiencing with my pup. His training style was different than I was used to, but my dog really seemed to take to his training. I think it’s helpful to have home lessons and am really looking forward to putting the lesson to good use!

Josef was great! He taught us so much and so quickly. Not a minute of that hour with him was wasted. Our dog was super responsive to the type of training he uses. He even made sure to cover situations that may trigger our dog to act adversely so that we could learn how to correct our dog in the best way possible. We are very thankful to have had him work with us!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $ 125 per session.
I do not sell packages. You pay as you go. When you are happy with your dogs your training is complete. No tests! No levels to pass! Just a well behaved dog!
I can do in 2 or 3 sessions what will take most a package of 5 or 10 training sessions.
My board and trains are $150 a night. I only take 1 dog at a time. Your dog will come into my house as a family member. Please do not leave your dog at a facility in a cage for a board and train!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss your training needs and fix them A.S.A.P.
If I am doing a Board and Train I request you come see my home and meet me. Please never leave your dog with a trainer you have not met.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nepopo Gold trainer & Gold Multiplicator. Before training Dogs full time. I was a Competitive Ballroom and Latin Dancer Teacher. In 2000 I was ranked top teacher in the United States. In 2009 I was 2nd Place. What sets me apart from other trainers is my ability to communicate quickly and effectively with the Humans. There are hundreds of great trainers in the USA but most train just the dog and are unable to communicate to You how to keep those results after the Training. I teach You and Your Dog the proper partnering skills setting You on a path for Years of Success.
