Yes, I typically charge on an hourly basis unless a client has a very specific budget and needs to stick to that.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been an artist, but I would say my career really began 20 years ago when I became obsessed with MS Paint (bundled with Windows 95). I taught myself how to use Photoshop and Illustrator on high school, and ultimately decided to go to college for design. I've always enjoyed working at the intersection of technology and art.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Imagine going to a cocktail party and talking to someone who is sincerely interested in what you do for a living; that person is me. I've worked with clients ranging from the CEO's of billion dollar companies to moms who want to open an acupuncture practice. I always strive to understand my clients and what they do very well--and they appreciate that the extra effort shows in my design.
