FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We shop our competitors to make sure we give you the best value. We offer the widest range on materials and have multiple building methods so that we can work in any budget. We give a no obligation quote on all work, and you will receive to-scale drawings before any work is done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the prospective client either at there home or business to assess the project, or the prospective client can visit our large showroom to see many examples of our work. I then can give a estimate of the investment and the client can decide if they want to proceed. We take a 50% deposit and the balance only after the client is 100% satisfied with the finished work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my BFA from Westminster/William Woods Colleges in Fulton Mo with concentrations in drawing, sculpture and painting. So I love to get creative with projects. I worked with an antique restorer for a few years and then started my own company, The Wood Doctor, restoring antiques and building cabinets and furniture for the interior design trade. There I learned furniture design and history, so I have a deep knowledge of style.
