- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process starts off with a 20-minute initial call for us to speak more about what you're needing, and my process. My initial resume turnaround time is 3 days. Then I will do 1 rewrite/edit if anything needs to be added, deleted or changed. This will take another day from receiving them. When finalized with customer, I will send both a word and PDF version of your resume. If customer has requested any add-ons, those will be completed next.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a High School English teacher in East St. Louis for 5 years. From that, I decided to use my skills and convert them over to recruiting in the IT space. I worked specifically as a Strategic Sourcer for the top recruiter of a very large recruiting Agency. I learned exactly what a resume should look like and how to pick apart any job description to know what a hiring manager is looking for. Then, I spent almost 3 years working on the government team for a different agency. I learned the entire recruiting process, including keeping up with the most current work trends and hiring processes. Now, I've spent the last 7 months, and hopefully many more, as the Director of Recruiting for Vega Federal, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), in software Solutions through Automation. Because of this experience, I know how to make my customers look good on paper and prepare them on what to expect during an interview, no matter the level, no matter the space.
