About Me
I am a paramedic by day trade and have been a tinkerer and fixer of all things since I was able to disassemble things. I live in the Springfield area and operate a one man show. This allows me to provide the best service possible to each individual that wishes to seek my help.
Most of my encouragement to formalize a handyman business comes from completing any and every "handy husband/son/brother" task that has been asked of me.
Where does my experience come from?
I have always been mechanically inclined and have the natural knack for figuring out issues and appropriate solutions.
4 years through high school I was the property manager/handy man for a real estate group. I completed various tasks from lawn care/landscaping to immediate action overflows caused by faulty equipment.
During high school I sought out vocational training via metal working classes to learn how to physically create what I needed to solve a problem.
Later in life I joined the military as an aircraft mechanic - this was due to almost maxing out the score on the ASVAB for mechanical aptitude. In the military I received further vocational training that correlates directly to the handyman world.
During all of this time I have never been one to pass an opportunity from learning. Over my lifespan I have learned how to complete various numbers of tasks from vocational training / internships / life experience to include: household appliance repair, product assembly, small remodels, flooring, basic plumbing, basic household electrical, etc.
What does all this mean to you?
I have been trained both in schools and through life to complete your job. I understand family values and work great around all family matters. I perform very detail oriented work and never take the "shortcuts" to complete a task. I will complete any task you need done and it will be correct and prompt work. If I am not comfortable with my skill to complete your task I am not too proud to inform you of that and refer you to a more appropriate company.
Due to the level of precision, detail oriented nature, and refusal to take the shortcuts, I may not always be the lowest bid you will receive - my quality of work will reflect the value of my work.
I look forward to working with you - please don't hesitate to ask any and all questions!
