- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctoral Degree in Ministry. I have experience working with individuals, couples and family. Specialties are Marital and Premarital, Family Conflict, Child or Adolescent Issues, ADHD, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Coping Skills, Depression, Parenting, Self-Harming, Stress, Substance Abuse, Trauma and PTSD. Treatment Approach includes Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Family / Marital, Pre-Marital, Family Systems, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I begin H.O.P.E. Family Consulting as a way to provide counseling, mentoring, and spiritual guidance to those in low income area's who could not afford to seek the help they needed. Therapy/Counseling is more than a job to me it is a calling.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with Individuals, Couples, and Families. Client Focus: Children (6 to 10), Preteens / Tweens (11 to 13), Adolescents / Teenagers (14 to 19), Adults (20-65+).
