FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a pricing, but would be willing to look at the customers affordability. On the average, I charge between $70 - 100 per hour for pictures involving up to 5-6 people. Larger groups might attract a higher pricing. Events for more than 15 people would be priced differently. Engagements and Weddings have a different pricing depending on the customer's need, number of people, venue, number of photographs needed etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet clients first and get to know them a bit. Especially where there are young children involved, I like to play with them and make friends first. I then get them comfortable with the camera by clicking a lot of pictures that I know may not work well. If it is an event, I talk with the client beforehand to know who the important people are and what the important moments will be, where they will take place, and at what time, if that is known. That way, I don't miss something important.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an award winning short film to my credit that has been accepted at 9 festivals in three countries across the world so far. I also have a MFA in Digital Cinema from Los Angeles. I've taught photography and filmmaking for over twenty years and have been a professional video editor for the same period. I have been taking still photographs for over twenty five years.
