Mr. Pullen's name originally came up when I searched for someone to build a ramp off the end of my deck. I subsequently decided to hire him to pour the concrete footing, alter the porch railing to make a gate, and rotate a storm door for the vertical platform lift I chose to install instead of the ramp.
The jobs were done just today. Mr. Pullen arrived promptly at 9 am, as he said he would. He displayed an excellent understanding of what I needed to have done, and he and his crew executed my requests. They appeared to have a good working relationship with each other, and they seemed to enjoy the work. One of them was even kind enough to interrupt himself while working on the storm door to help me insert a leaf into my dining room table.
I'm visually impaired, and the concrete is still wet at the time of the submission of this review, but from a distance, it would be difficult, I think, to know that the porch railing has been transformed into a gate. The door closes and latches as easily as it it did in its original position. He showed me how he rerouted a downspout to accommodate for the footing he poured. And I'm assured that the concrete will be dry enough for the lift to be anchored to it at the end of this week. He will be back to remove the 2x4's and do some other clean-up work to the footing.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience with Mr. Pullen to this point. I have some other jobs I need to have done, and I'm willing to consider him for those as well. Many thanks, sir.
