Introduction: My work is superior to others because of my vast plant knowledge, eye for color, and design expertise. My plant knowledge allows for plant selections that are more interesting than the average holly, spirea and boxwood. There are many beautiful choices out in the market, many go unused by most landscapers... by not planting the same old same old your beds truly standout. I love all the aspects of my job. I have a passion for working in the soil, for creating beautiful landscapes and seeing joy on the faces of my clients. I inherited my love for all things garden and landscape from my father, a skilled artisan. I am honored and privileged to be able to work in a field that I love so much.

My the small bed in my yard has never been a priority for me. However, the original plantings 20 years ago had started looking so bad that I decided to make an investment and pay someone who knew what they were doing. It was not a large job, but Rita still made me feel as if I was a VIP client. I know nothing about gardening or flowers, but knew that I wanted a natural look. Rita exceeded my expectations and I love the variety of unique plants that she chose and how they flow into each other. She even found unique planters that I love to flank my doorstep at 1/2 off! Also of note, the crew she hired to remove all the existing bushes did it efficiently and thoroughly in extreme heat. The process was easy and Rita was reliable, professional, and knowledgeable throughout.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is basic. Labor and plant material equals total price. When providing sketches with a list of plants my prices range from $150 to $300 depending on the size of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I almost always need to see the site. Obviously for sketches I need to measure the area and design a plan. I also need to look at sun requirements and the quality of the soil. If I'm also installing the design all those criteria stated above would apply. Sorry. I know people are anxious for a quote but I would feel totally irresponsible in attempting to do that without seeing the site first.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Master Gardener and I'm certified in landscape design and maintenance all from Rutgers University the State School of NJ. Yes, when the opportunity arises I do continue taking classes to keep myself current.
