FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a set rate, I never have.I price a job on the amount of work it involves, rather I need to bring my own equipment and supplies or if they are furnished. Each job is different, depending where it's located for my travel to rather the customer wants a one time commitment or returning schedule.I work out whats best for both myself and the customer.Sometimes a customer will want a set price prior to excepting my assistance, and I do my best to accomidate that if possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended college at Abtech on a few courses, mainly social skills and interpersonal relations. At one point in my life, I saw my diagnoses as a disability and although what I do helps me cope with the bottled up energy and I can clearly control the OCD, I was ashamed to point out that I have any issues, considering this as flaws not looking at the positive results. So I learned to adjust and speak freely and clearly of my abilities through these social classes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mother, rest her soul, would clean motels to bring in extra income and she would let me help on weekends and summers when I was a young teenager.I loved it.I have tried several types of employment from fork lift driver to bartending. But the most satisfing is cleaning for me, it's more of a personal gain and also to help the elderly. There's nothing better than when you feel you done your best and get that call to return for the next job.
