- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Birthday parties for face painting are $350 to $400 depending on the day of the week for up to 15 kids for a minimum of 2 hours. If more than 15 kids, then it's $5 for each extra child. If less than 15 kids it's still $350 to $400 and thus is for one service like Face Painting. If you add on a second service like Balloon Twisting it's an additional $50 to $100. If I quote you a slightly higher price, then I've added a little more for gas / travel expenses since it may be further than I normally travel. If you would like to add on balloon twisting, that fee is an additional $50 to $100 for the two hour time frame. So, for both Face Painting and Balloon Twisting for two hours the total is $350 to $400 for one service or $400 to $500 for two services. I will be the one doing both face painting and balloon twisting. An invoice will be emailed for a 50% deposit and is due upon receipt to reserve your event date and time, and the remaining half must be paid in full on the day of the event when I arrive and prior to set up. Forms of payment accepted are Cash, Debit/Credit through Square, Corporate Check (No personal checks accepted), Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and Cash App. If the event is cancelled within two weeks before the date of the event, there will be a fee of $25 deducted from your payment. The difference due back to you will be sent within 12 business days. Also, for Face Painting I'm not there for a set amount of time. I start painting as soon as I'm set up and ready. Usually I'm there for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Some face painting designs take more time, and others less. It all depends on the designs chosen. I can stay for the whole two hours but if I'm done early, I reserve the option to depart once I'm finished. Corporate fee is $175 to $200/hour with a two hour minimum. If I quote you a slightly higher price, then I've added a little more for gas / travel expenses since it may be further than I normally travel. If the corporate event is canceled within two weeks before the date of the event, there will be a fee of $50 deducted from your payment. The difference due back to you will be sent within 12 business days. For Corporate Events I can offer any of the cheek art, half faces or full faces. However, keep in mind if you have a large number of people it's best to do cheek art to move the line more quickly. You may need more then one painter, and if so I can usually provide 1 or 2 additional painters at the same fee per hour. Fundraisers: I can work two different ways. Either pay me my corporate fee of $175 to $200 per hour if you don't want to charge people who are to be painted, or allow me to charge people to be painted and then I can donate 10% to your cause. I book several events in one day, but at different times to allow me to drive and get set up again to work. Therefore, please be courteous and respect my time. Be prepared to pay on time as soon as I arrive, and not at the end of the party. I know party moms get busy; same goes for Corporate events. If I have to wait to be paid, there will be a late fee due that day of $25 that will be accrued every 15 minutes that I'm waiting and will be due that day and added to your total owed. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get as many details as possible about the event so I'm prepared. I need information like a contact name, phone number, email address and the address for the location of the event including the zip code so I can use GPS. I also need to know if the event is inside or outdoors, and the plans for inclement weather. Do you provide a tent / weights for outdoor use or do I need to bring my own? I need to know if you will provide a table and two chairs or do I need to bring my own. I need to know how many people are expected to be painted. If there is inclement weather, and the event needs to be rescheduled then I can usually do that with no problem. I'll just have to check my calendar. If you have a family emergency, or a sick child and need to change a date for a birthday party, then I'm happy to reschedule. If a birthday party or corporate event is canceled altogether, there will be a fee of $25 for the canceled birthday party and a $50 fee for the canceled corporate event.

I was a dental assistant for 13 yrs, therefore I have alot of experience working with children.
