Danny has done multiple rennovation/remodeling projects for us. We first employed his services in 2008 and he is still doing a project for us now. His work for us includes complete remodeling of 3 baths, including new heated tile floors and showers, new cabinets and countertops, lighting, new toilets, sinks and hardware, etc. He enlarged our driveway and turnaround. He rebuilt our chimney and completely remodeled our family room and kitchen - new cabinets, appliances, sinks, hardware, windows, and extensive lighting upgrades. He added a small addition to the house with cabinets and a desk area, and installed new hardwood floors in 2 rooms. In addition to these large projects he is always available to do small jobs like changing a light fixture, or repairing rotten framing around a door. He is very competent with many skills so very little work has to be contracted out (like wiring, plumbing, etc). His staff is clean, and polite. He and his staff are nonsmokers and very respectful and careful around the home and job site. He promptly responds to calls or e-mails.
We would highly recommend his services and I would personally offer to give comments or references to anyone who inquires through him.

If you are seeking a professional, ethical and personable contractor with reasonable rates, contact Daniel Councell. We cannot thank him enough for the professional job he completed, on time and within budget. We are the owners of a property in Asheville that we lease and had a problem with our shower unit leaking and damaging the sheetrock. We live abroad which is a disadvantage when seeking someone reliable to carry out maintenance work. Daniel was amazing, he investigated the problem, sent us a report and a quote and had it completed within a week. We received several quotes from other local contractors which were outrageously overpriced for the project. We will certainly use Daniel for future projects on our property. Thanks Daniel, you will be hearing from us again!
