If you are considering Appalachian Home Maintenance for your home improvements think twice! I hired them in November of 2021. I agreed to the estimate to install a hogwire fence to be installed. Installation began on November 11th. And was not completed until December 14th. During that time days would go by without Shaun showing up or he would show up for an hour or maybe two in the late afternoon or early evening in the dark. I constantly had to reach out to see if he intended on finishing the project. The fence he installed is nothing but a true handyman special and nothing like I agreed to. Construction was inferior along with the materials. Im not a contractor but I do know that untreated, 2x2 pine stakes that were pounded into the ground to support the fencing will rot and screws should be used rather than nails in fencing and steps need to be securely placed rather than balancing on rocks. If the work had been done correctly rocks and 2x2s would not be needed to support the hogwire. Then fence is already detreated to the point the wire grids are falling off and the gate is falling apart. Despite contacting Shaun to resolve the issue he has failed to do so as he promised.Denise B.
