L did an amazing job assessing a potential permanent dog door in our wall. L was knowledgeable and honest when she didn’t think that what we wanted would work out. She went above and beyond to try and provide alternatives. She left the existing space clean and better than it looked before . We have already hired L for another project for us.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most projects are quoted at a fixed price based on scope. Smaller punch-list or repair projects may be billed hourly. A deposit is typically required to reserve scheduling and cover initial project costs. Larger projects may use a progress-payment schedule outlined in the contract.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact, I typically request photos and a brief description of the project. If it’s a good fit, I’ll schedule a site visit to take measurements, discuss the scope, and answer questions. I then provide a written estimate and available scheduling dates. Once approved, the project is placed on the schedule and any required deposit or payment plan is documented before work begins.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have more than 10 years of hands-on residential construction and remodeling experience. My background includes full-house renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, cabinetry, trim, doors, painting, exterior improvements, estimating, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project management. I’ve also managed six full-house renovation and flip projects since 2021.
