Clark is awesome! He is very helpful, knowledgeable, and just overall a nice guy. I was very impressed with his range - He helped run an ethernet cable through my attic, fixed a bathroom fan, moved a washer/dryer into my house, and cleaned up some ceiling fan work completed by someone else. Clark is a great handyman to have around, and I will definitely call him for any future needs. I highly recommend him!

Wow, where do I start?! Clark hit it out of the ballpark with my project. I needed a mantel and TV hung above my stone fireplace and there were several unknowns when he started the project, but he came prepared to figure it all out, and made me feel confident he would do it right before he even got to my house. Communication was great and he was patient even when I forgot some of the details we discussed on the phone. There were some tricky aspects especially with the mantel, but he troubleshooted and navigated it all with ease, and it turned out AMAZING! The cherry on top was that when he was done, he even offered to help me wrap up a couple of other little projects that I didn't even ask him to help me with (but he saw I was struggling with!). Not to mention he was super friendly and fun to talk to. I would give Clark 10 stars if I could!! I look forward to working with him again in the future!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $80 per hour. Although that may seem high initially, my clients feel it is well worth it for the professionalism, capability, and trustworthiness that I bring to the projects that I am involved with.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to respond to the initial request as soon as possible and set up a call to discuss the project. From there I do my best give an accurate estimate of time. Sometimes it is best for me to see a project in person in order to give an estimate. When I do this, I do not charge for this initial time up-front. However, if I am hired for the job, I add the 15-30 min it usually takes for that initial look to the overall billed time for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a year long traditional apprenticeship at the International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) in Newport, RI. That was 23 years ago and I learned a broad range of skill sets in wood, trim, paint, electrical, plumbing, metalwork, etc. I bring those various abilities to my projects for clients today. From installing a ceiling fan, or rewiring a switch or outlet, or building a custom storage solution for you, I can make it happen. I also hold a FAA commercial pilot’s license, I am a flight and ground instructor, I am a former high school teacher, and I have emergency medical training. All of this background combined ensures that you are getting a quality professional who will treat you, your home/business, and your project with respect and care.
