- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary for each project, these are the started points, to give you an idea. I provide bundled prices for projects that involve multiple services or lots of illustrations. Average prices: $200 per children's book illustration (full page, color illustration) $450 for illustrated/designed book cover $450 for interior book layout $450 for logo
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Trust and clear communication are essential parts of my creative process. There are typically three steps: storyboard/rough draft, pencil drawing, color phase. I consult with the client after each step to make sure you are happy with the results and edits can be made as the project moves forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught for the most part, from on-the-job training. I can send relevant samples and references, as needed. I have illustrated over 60 children's books, including full book design on many of them (layout, book cover, quality control for print). I am an expert in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
