Introduction: Hi! I'm Annie Frazier, and I empower young people to get brave with yoga! My classes are where social-emotional learning meets the yoga mat. I am passionate about sharing accessible yoga and self-care skills for all! I began practicing yoga almost 15 years ago, when I was a young teenager. I know firsthand the benefits yoga can have for young people: increased confidence and compassion, practical self-care skills and a sense of groundedness through the wild ride of growing up! My special interests based on my personal background and training include brain-based and trauma informed yoga, sibling yoga, confidence boosting yoga and working with non-traditional families (adoptive, foster, kinship care). I am an expert digital educator and specialize in virtual yoga lessons- a home practice is so powerful, and I love being able to 'meet' my students all over the country in their own homes. I will continue to provide all yoga services via Zoom, indefinitely, unless students living in Asheville would prefer to meet in person.

I loved my experience doing yoga with Annie. Her routines are imaginative, and her presence as a teacher is calm and encouraging. Her yoga for kids is gently guided, energetic, interactive, and seriously fun. I recommend Annie 100% as a teacher for families and for all ages' individual practice!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer a standard rate of $1/minute for all private yoga instruction, and discounts on 5- and 10-class packages. My general recommendation is a 45 minute session for young yoga learners (under age 14), and a 60 minute session for older yoga learners (14+ and adults). I am happy to adjust lesson duration and frequency based on your needs, and what works best for the yogi!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to have a short call (10-15 minutes) in advance of our first yoga session to identify the student's goals and experience with yoga so far- this helps me tailor our time together!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a certified trauma-informed Children and Teens Yoga Teacher (95-hour, via Yoga Ed), and have studied Family Yoga (4-hour Young Yoga Masters). I am an expert digital educator and have taught 1500+ direct-contact teaching hours in the last year, with K-12 students in one-on-one and small group settings.
