- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With carpet and upholstery cleaning it is rated by the amount of rooms in the home and by the amount of stairs. whenever a customer wants carpet and floor covering I must know what size all the rooms measurements are from side to side and front to back. Also the hall too. that way I can figure if you need 12 or 15 foot carpet also. do you want cutpile or Berber. also.is there furniture to be moved and replace. and finally do I need to tear out old carpet and pad and will we haul it off or will the customer and is it on wood or a concrete slab. when I have all this information. this helps me to give you the most affordable price for the job you need done.
