Introduction

We teach ballroom and Latin dancing to adult singles and couples of all ages. We help people prepare for social events like weddings, cruises, or just for fun and exercise! We also do dance competitions and take trips to Vegas and Miami beach for those students who are really wanting to dance like on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars". Arthur Murrays has over 260 locations worldwide, and it is celebrating its 100th year of teaching the world to dance!

After becoming a widow in March, I was searching for something to help fill my time. So, after trying summer softball, which wasnt for me, I asked myself, What do I enjoy?After careful consideration of that question, I found the answer was dancing. I had never been given any formal instruction, so I researched dance studios in my area that provide beginner classes.Little did I know when I picked up the phone to call Arthur Murray of Cary, that I would find my sanctuary.The Arthur Murray of Cary Team is remarkable. They devised a lesson plan that helps me to reach the dance goals that I have set for myself, and since I am new at this, I need lots of help!As my instructor, Jake is not only a skillful dancer but gifted at making people feel comfortable.Karina, also an instructor, possesses a quiet grace that most women aspire to attain in dance.Tony and Julie, the owners of Arthur Murray of Cary bring decades of combined experience with both dancing and instructing. They are both enthusiastically involved in the development of their students and instructors.But most important of all, when you walk in the door of Arthur Murray of Cary, you become a part of something much bigger than just a dance studio, you become a part of their family. And that is priceless.

I was visiting from out of town and this studio was great, really went above and beyond. When work ran late and they moved my lesson back a little to accommodate it. The group class size had dropped to just me, and so they called my home studio to personalize the lesson based on what I needed to work on. I will definitely come back whenever I work in the area, thank you!

My wife and I took our first lesson and we were so impressed with the facility and the staff. Our instructor was great. Matthew was so patient with us and had a very relatable approach for beginners. We loved it and signed up for more lessons!

We are currently offering a fun and easy no obligation sample private lesson for only $40! That fee covers both singles and couples!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After your initial lesson, your instructor will work with you to establish what your goals or objectives are with your dance lessons so that we can get you there while having a lot of fun.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Arthur Murray Instructors must be certified by Arthur Murray International in order to teach our students. It is a rigorous process that involves our instructors being evaluated on their ability to teach and convey information as well as demonstrating a high level of dance knowledge. Also we attend regular area and national meetings to learn the latest trends in Ballroom, Social, Latin, and wedding dances.
