I really enjoy my guitarlessons and always look forward to going. Jay explains things in a way that actually makes sense. He focuses a lot on building strong basics and practicing finger techniques first, which has really helped me improve. I feel like he genuinely cares about teaching and wants his students to understand music properly, not just memorize things. He’s very patient, knowledgeable, and makes learning guitar fun and motivating. Anna

I’ve been taking lessons from Jay and learned more in the past 3 years than from any other instructor previous. His knowledge in music and guitar are immense and whether you’re a beginner or professional musician you will learn a lot from him. He examines bad habits and helps you over come them, he infuses theory with every song he teaches. He is a no BS teacher so if your looking for one, I highly recommend Jay Rusnak.

I've been taking lessons with Jay for almost 2 years and have made tremendous improvements in some of the areas I wanted to focus on. I wouldn't have stuck around this long if I didn't think it was a good value and wasn't making the progress I wanted to. Jay is very professional, always on time, and communicates well to students. I have seen him teaching students at a variety of levels, from kids just starting out to adults that are wanting to work on more advanced skills. Jay also understands and can teach a lot of more advanced topics for students that have interest in music theory for example. I would recommend Jay as an instructor.

What I enjoy most about Jay's instruction is he puts music theory into simple terms. He also has a vast knowledge of all musical genres and will teach you whatever you want to learn. Lastly, he's patient, especially with students who are picking up the guitar a little later in life and may not have the dexterity that comes with youth.

I been taking lesson's with Jay for a little over 4 years. I have learned and accomplished a lot in that time. I'm an older guy(senior) and we have fun with it. For all of you older folks, if this is something you always wanted to do, but life got in the way go for it. Remember, you are never to old to Rock 'n Roll. For the younger crowd, you will not be disappointed, he will get get you going in the right direction, the right way. So hook up with the right guy......Jay Rusnak.
