Cannot say enough about Jennifer!! She is FABULOUS! True expert in her field. She did makeup for myself, mom, sister and aunt for my wedding. We had some stressful things happening and she brought the chill vibes!! Made us all feel beautiful and confident. Makeup was on point. Had a very natural look with a touch of drama. My husband is not a fan of makeup and he said I looked beautiful and natural 🥰. Do yourself a favor. Book her now. For all of your events or photo shoots!

My wife and I wanted to get done up in a fancy paint job before going out clubbing for our anniversary and Jennifer did an amazing job! I recently had makeup and a lesson done by Making It Up, and Jennifer was fantastic. She was kind and sweet and had an infectious positive energy to her. And, the makeup was applied to perfection. I highly recommend, as she did everything I asked for and then some, leaving me blushing in the mirror. She has ample knowledge and expertise, and I plan on going back to her for additional lessons and applications.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained and studied under many professional makeup artists through out my early years. I continue personal education and am a trainer myself. I have been a licensed Esthetician since 2000.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working at makeup counters in the late 90’s. I then went to Esthetic school up north and got licensed in 2000. I have always loved how makeup can bring your own features to life, highlight and minimize certain areas while overall helping women feel their absolute best. I working in NYC at Mario Badescu in the early 2000’s and as a freelance makeup artist. I work with professional models, TV personalities and high profile weddings in the city.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of skin tones, shapes and types. Being an Aesthetician allows me to understand skin on a much deeper level and ensures I choose the best formulas for your special event as well as the future health of the skin.
